Logic Puzzles

Today we worked on logical puzzles involving Football and Jack-o-lanterns. Be sure you complete these and keep up with ALL papers as you will use them in your upcoming project!

For tonight you must print out the Research Paper from the following website:

http://www.mysterymaster.com/links/592FinalReport.pdf

It is a 12-14 page paper. You may begin reading it if you want, but you will get a handout tomorrow explaining exactly what you are going to analyze.

Have a great night!

a flanker is also called a slot reciever and he stands off to the way right of the quarterback and his purpose is to catch balls and push people out of the way. he is called a "flanker" because he is on the quarterback's "flank"

It's a player who catches passes. In an offensive formation, he usually lines up outside the tight end, off the line of scrimmage. Also known as a receiver.

A flanker is positioned off to the side of the quarterback - on his flank. He catches balls behind the offensive line.

a reciever on offense...there is also a flanker in Rugby who can be "open" or "blind." They make sure the ball is moving forward and in their possession. The two are very similar.

"Flanker," incidentally, because he's off to the side of the quarterback - on his flank. His purpose is to catch balls and cause more headaches.
