Today we went over the homework dealing with onto and one-to-one functions, as well as ceiling and floor functions. Be sure to check your homework if you were not in class today. We did not go over any new material and we will not start anything new until after the test. That gives us several days to review (and we still have a few activities dealing with this material).
For homework everyone should generate 3 questions about the material (sets or functions) that you do not completely understand. We will begin reviewing tomorrow in preparation for the BIG TEST next week. The test will cover mainly sets and functions, but remember that the old material from propositions and fair division might be on there (as the cumulative questions). Your questions for homework can be directly about the material (ex. what is a ceiling function), or they can be book problems that you still do not understand.
Have a great day!
Coming up:
- NO HOMEWORK tonight unless you did not finish your 3 questions in class!
- We will have a big test next Friday (October 5th), or possibly Wed. (Oct. 3rd)
Posting for Points Question:
How many questions do you need to generate for homework?
